I think it looks good and works very well as it doubles as an ottoman, coffee table and extra storage space. However, the main reason I bought it was to have a safer kids coffee table with no hard edges and soft corners. The only problem is my baby is now a toddler opening the top. The sides fold down a lot and are quite heavy. He injured himself several times, so in the end we had to tie him up with a rope. Because of this, it doesn't look as nice anymore and I can't readily use it for storage. It's a good product and has held up so far, but if you were hoping this would be a kid-friendly option like I was, you might want to keep looking. Find something with a slow-closing lid.
