Review on 📀 Verbatim 95123 DataLifePlus DVD+R DL, 8.5GB, 2.4x, White Inkjet Printable, Pack of 20 Discs by Brett Martinez

Although these DL drives are a bit more expensive than the others, this is the only brand I have had any luck with. There are no coasters from 40 yet. And Plextor drives with updated firmware can burn them at 6x, still no problem. I tried Ritek, both under the Ritek brand and under the Memorex brand. Ritex is ok but only burns at 2.4 and I've had at least one severe burn. The Riteks branded Memorex were terrible, with only about 20% yield on three different burners, including the Memorex DVD burner. Memorex sent me a new spindle from their warranty site. The replacement appears to be performing about 90% - much better than the original batch.
