Bought for a car backup system. Concerned about heating complaints. But so far I haven't seen that. They get a little warm, but nothing to touch or hold. I think the heat issue might be related to the applied voltage. I connected the transmitter to the rear light and the receiver to the cigarette lighter. The transmitter is located in the tailgate dashboard and the receiver is located under the driver's side step strip. I glued them to the metal parts so they dissolve quickly even when they get hot. The picture is good, sometimes there are stripes. However, there is no helpful guide. If you've been playing with electronics, this will help. Has been working without problems for a few weeks. I'm looking forward to the winter tests.
