Review on Qualtex Dyson DC14 Replacement Hose by Margarita Grossarth

If you're reading this review, you're probably like me - you just couldn't bring yourself to shell out $55 for a replacement Dyson hose. This prompted you to look for non-OEM alternatives. Well, this is an acceptable substitute product. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about ordering the hose. Reviews were mixed. However, when I fitted the new hose, it fitted perfectly with one exception. The inner diameter of the Dyson hose is slightly smaller than the OEM (Dyson) hose it replaces. This difference is only noticeable when you retract the handle as the handle retracts into the hose a little more slowly than the Dyson hose. This difference does not interfere with the operation of the vacuum cleaner. Other reviewers stated that the hose is not as long as the Dyson hose. I didn't think this was right as my Dyson hose had been stretched for years. All attachments fit perfectly into the female end of the socket. The build quality of the hose far exceeds what I paid for it. I recommend this product unreservedly.
