Review on 96 Color Set of Blendable Tombow 56149 Dual Brush Pen πŸ–ŒοΈ Art Markers with Desk Stand - Brush and Fine Tip Markers with Stand by Brian Chatum

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pros and cons but still 5 stars for me

Love these paint markers except a few are dry! Everything else was perfect and easy to use. I use them in adult coloring books and freehand drawing. Regarding the stand, 3 comments: (1) Yes, it holds the handles ok, but I had trouble aligning the handles when placing them in the slots. them back to stand. Each feather goes through the top slot and then needs to line up with the corresponding bottom slot or your next feathers won't go in when you cross the slots below. It makes sense!? (2) I found the best use for the stand. Instead of storing all 96 pens in each slot, I bought a 3-drawer wooden pen/pen storage box from Revain, which I love for my pens; I think they are around $23.00 and VERY GOOD. (I also bought another wooden box for my crayons.) And now my tombow stand sits empty on my art platform. When I paint with pens or pencils, I put some of the colors I'm working with into the slots in the base. Once I'm done coloring I put all my pencils and pencils in wooden storage boxes. With only a dozen or so pens and/or pencils, it doesn't matter if I fit them perfectly into the slots. I love this usage as pens and pencils no longer roll around my desk when I change color when I put them down. (3). The stand/legs really need to be hot glued. Otherwise it will fall apart. No problem if you have a hot glue gun.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others
