Ranger 2003. Check Engine Light Fix

I used a scanner to read my Check Engine Light Code and it basically said both banks were working fine. The scanner says the purge valve is bad. This part took about 10 minutes to install. The check engine light hasn't come on for a week. From what I've read on the forums, this factory bleed valve fails frequently. If only we had a simple fix for that crappy 3.0 motor. me right?
