This fiber works wonders. I use an internal corner canister filter for my aquarium (20 gallon) so I have to make my own filters each time. I prefer doing this, I find it cleans the tank much better than the edge filters that use gaskets. This creates a better water flow, the water is filtered twice through the fiber and with regular cleaning it does not accumulate on the second layer. I've been using this fiber for about 6 years now and wouldn't buy any other brand if I could. It's not a cheap fiber and it's easy to clean if you want to clean it rather than replace it.
