I bought this Sony memory stick at a fair price. However, shortly after purchasing this item, I saw an offer for about $5 less. Delivered quickly, works as stated. I was able to use the card on time, so the $5 saving was a bit annoying when I waited. I then found that Sony flash memory is not compatible with all readers. I experienced this while playing a video on my son's PS3. His old line of Sony flash memory cards work well with the reader he uses, but this new Sony "Pro" line doesn't play videos from its reader smoothly. He then produced another reader that was not compatible with his old card but was compatible with my new card. Luckily, my Targus reader, which I bought from Walmart for about $10, is compatible with both Sony flash series. I've been lucky. Buyers should be wary of compatibility issues with card readers and various Sony flash memory series. The video may not play correctly on all card readers. As for other Sony products I own, I'm learning that Sony is becoming notorious for ignoring compatibility and obsolescence issues associated with previous user investments in its products. The recent drop in Sony stock prices reflects investors' awareness of Sony's arrogance over consumer preferences. If Sony decides to continue down this path, it will inevitably be bought out by a Korean upstart more aware of consumer needs and less concerned with patting itself on the back for innovation.
