I don't often write product reviews, but this little scanner is amazing. I only got it yesterday because I have a lot to scan in the next few months and probably over 1000 pages have already been scanned. Setup was very easy and the scanner itself is very light. I'm a pretty sloppy person so it sat on my lap for a few scans and I had no trouble squeezing it while using it. I had a bit of trouble getting the alignment right initially, but the learning curve is pretty quick. I really appreciate the feature that allows you to add more pages to a file by loading it within a (user-specified) time window after the previous one. The scanner is very quiet in grayscale and a bit noisy when scanning in color. I didn't time the scan, but it's pretty quick. When I got dusty after a few hundred pages, it was also very easy to open and clean. I didn't pay much attention to the OCR feature since most of what I scanned was handwritten or musical notation, but I found the features I was already using to be quite intuitive. I also didn't try to increase the dpi above 200, so I found the scans weren't perfectly sharp, but I found the image quality to be more than adequate for my needs. Overall, it's easy to use, portable, light, quiet, and fast, and it has all the features I've been looking for without the bells and whistles I don't need.
