Thing definitely works, but it's VERY painful. I usually have a high pain tolerance, but I had to stop at about 3/5 of my Brazilian. I just couldn't take it anymore. Two things to note: I have very dark, coarse Italian hair and this was my first experience of having my bikini line sugared/waxed. For an experienced sugar waxer, the pain may not be as severe. I wasted a pack because when I started I had latex gloves and the sugar stuck to the gloves and I couldn't maneuver it. I had to throw it away. When I tried the second pack and took the product out of the box (difficult) it was perfectly easy to use with bare hands and didn't make the sticky mess I was expecting (hence the gloves). Sugar is much easier to use after you peel it off the skin a few times, it becomes more flexible and less sticky. Bleeding and bruising were very minimal. Now that I'm healed physically (and mentally) from this self-inflicted torture, I'll try again (God willing) and let you know how it goes.
