Review on Kayak Intex Challenger K2 351 cm, green/black by Gabriela Zagumna ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Upset and disappointed, the product is very bad!

Tested on the river Oka, rafted down 70 km. together with my niece, I have 95 kg, she has 60, the load - up to 180 kg fit into the load. It is inconvenient for rafting - there is not enough space for the legs, they become numb, they cannot hold out for a long time - 1.5-2 hours of rest. The course holds in a straight line well to distant landmarks. I can recommend young people for a fun coastal holiday and short walks

Pros
  • 1. Good transportability: the weight of the skin is 10 kg, the whole set with oars, pomp, life jackets and my bag-backpack 16 kg. 2. Good feathered oars. 3. paddles and seats with backs, Velcro and adjustment straps are included. 4. Inflates quickly. 5. Outwardly interesting. 6. Holds course well thanks to the fin.7. On the top trunk along the way you can dry things, the same sneakers. It inflates quickly, but remember - this is not a balloon on a car, when heated in the sun, the pressure increases greatly - check by applying a transparent ruler from the kit to the marks on the side and bottom, I think from overheating and some seams open.
Cons
  • 1. Very unstable, narrow, you feel like on a bicycle, you need to keep your balance (maybe this is normal, I haven’t gone kayaking before.), The sides are low, it’s easy to scoop. 2. Little space - legs are bent or need to be lifted up., luggage is moderate without frills. 3. It is hard for the first one to get out over the side - there is no support, he rolled over the side in shallow water, the second one can be helped to get out. 4. I would not fish on it on a wave. 5. The speed is practically no more than a boat on one rafting route, but calculated faster.
