This is my first pyrex tip kit so can't compare to others. I was happy to see that the kit was very well bubble wrapped for shipping and then everything was in a nicely organized plastic box. I compared the gas lens to my old one on the right. Your lens is all brass, where my old copper thread is, it's okay. The pyrex is located next to the #8 alumina nozzle. The glass is 1.9mm or 0.075 inch thick. I don't know if more expensive kits have thicker glass. I'm glad it comes with 4 attachments in case I break one. I will be using these primarily for spot welding, I can look through the glass to see exactly where my spot will be. The jar holds up pretty well with just a 0-ring, but I'm sure you can make it fly if you swing the torch fast enough. I've seen photos where they use 2 o-rings to hold the glass. I am very happy with this set and the price is right.
