Glad I bought this: Shop Signs & Displays
Tried to put this on a textured wall but it failed is not liable. It must be a smooth surface. I ended up using hot glue and it works great now. The plate itself looks like a durable plastic. I have had the sign in place for about a month now where it is receiving evening sun and there has been no fading or yellowing of the sign.
