Uh huh. I really wanted to like this player. Overall, the video didn't seem to reach HD quality. NTSC/PAL/480p/720p etc settings didn't seem to make a difference. It was a grainy picture. It was disappointing. When playing an old DVD, the display did nothing on 4:3. It still stretched the image to widescreen. Close-ups of faces made people look distorted. I had to fiddle with the TV settings to get it right - an inconvenience when it seems like the player has to deal with it. There are two audio options under HDMI Setup: Auto and PCM. When set to Auto I have NO sound. With PCM, the sound was certainly not stereo. The body of the device was filthy and dirty, especially in the corners. I've tried cleaning it up, but not very successfully. Note: Geoyeao Super Mini DVD Player is definitely superior to this product.
