Bought this to complement my flashlights, I use a variety of acetylene and propane gas lights in my home business. I was initially a little disappointed to find that a standard propane sanitary torch (like the Bernzomatic or TurboTorch) would not ignite reliably. I then tried it with my acetylene torches (Victor Performer, Firepower 250, Detroit DHC2000 and an old Dockson cutter) and it lit the flame every time. I'm so impressed I strapped it to my burner wagon, now it's my custom acetylene igniter. The fact that it never needs flints or batteries is an absolute win for me, I'll definitely be buying another to keep in my truck in my mobile rig. 100% recommended.
