This is a good buy. I'm only on the road for about 25% of my work, but I'm sure many of you are in the same boat; Most of the work you would do when you're not traveling is waiting for you when you get back to the hotel room :) - That 2nd screen makes me a lot faster, it keeps me from hunching over the small laptop screen - everything works as it should, no power chords like on my laptop - all around. My only asterisk is that I haven't figured out how to get the monitor to remember my brightness settings when I go back to it. It is always reset to the default value. A slight annoyance, that's all.
