Much better than non-stick

When you use a small saucepan as much as I do, you definitely don't need wear and tear on the Teflon finish and plastic handles that can't be kept far enough away from open flames. After several bouts of dizziness while cooking, I found that part of the plastic and/or Teflon handle on my old skillet had melted. Replacing that frying pan without Teflon and plastic ended this very disturbing trend. I cooked quinoa, melted cheese and of course an egg. I might recommend egg cooking spray but other things tend not to be sticky. I love this pan and will never go back to Teflon.
