Review on STIGA SensorScore Table Tennis Scoring System With Innovative Sensor Technology by Kyle Costello

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Bought from eBay because out of stock. excited then disappointed. STIGA really!

Updated. BUYER BEWARE DOES NOT FIT FULL SIZE 60 INCH REGULATION COMPETITION " STIGA" TABLE BY OVER 6 INCHES SHORT ! - 3 stars. SWEDISH STIGA SOLD RIGHTS TO CHINA - CHEAP QUALITY TOO I REALLY WOULD PAY $150 IF IT WAS REALLY DESIGNED AND MADE CORRECTLY? Nets are really as another stated "Fisher Price toy quality".-1.5 starsGreat CONCEPT.barely 1 Star rating.Notes:I was so excited to get our own Stiga table for our family this year; I'm a Swedish citizen whose played on Stiga for over 40 years. issues here unfortunately. fantastic concept.BUT this innovative device. deal breakers in realtime. (FYI: Revain.com prime ran out of item AND raised price by $15 from $39 to $54 when back in stock ?) What.? and I needed to get on eBay before Christmas eve. Still $54. So! I will do my best to be objective and fair for others. Buyers Beware. No warning of size limitations? What a wonderful deceiving product profit idea?1. This is NOT a Swedish Stigamade device = MADE=IN=CHINA, again: for $50, please. Even $99 is too cheap = suspicious.( without batteries is a minor irritation? really. include 4 alkaline batteries at this price point)2. Sensor Net included is NOT regulation width for my STIGA pro comp table ? And it seems cheaply made materials. more critically SHORT by 6 inches. Wow. outstanding con (my Stiga net slides in metal tube with metal adjustability and firm rubber edged clamps. quality REGULATION PRO WIDTH net with soft solid materials) this is Obviously designed for low-level, cheaper family fun non standard tables and larger profit-margin corner-cutting mass production. Oh well. No net sensor then.3. on testing. device before hookup, it wouldn't operate correctly without fresh batteries.display off yet sound always works though? Fair enough. Fresh lithium AA set of 4. still needed pressing. is it the plate contacts? Still finicky. Wow. cheap cheap cheap s***. (please excuse)Conclusion: expensive over-priced fake-branded knock-off super cool concept with misgivings. Sadly NOT value for money. I would pay more if it was really geared for serious play. "They really don't make things the way they used to" holds true: one doesn't get what one pays for today. Our excitement is quite deflated. Moving on: we can score quite well without this: mental strength.BUYER BEWARE.
