**DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPLY WITHOUT WATER!** Use a spray gun to spray water onto desired area of application, *then* apply film. Incredibly difficult to apply dry so I totally understand why other reviewers had blistering issues, but I'm used to applying film to my windows and figured you just need to spray the area with water first. Went like clockwork. With water, you can easily change the position of the film and squeeze out all the bubbles. Does not affect adhesion. In fact, I went through a few hours after requesting a car wash and it showed no sign of a shift. I have removed and repositioned the tape many times during use with no damage to my machine and I doubt it will damage the machine when I remove it years from now.
