They're thin but they're worth it because I don't just use one vacuum when I clean, maybe one per room. With these extra pads, you can wait for them to be washed, but you can still mop your floors. I haven't washed them to see how well they do, but they fit in my steamer and the one made for them costs more than I paid for the whole thing. So a pretty good buy I think.
