That's why the wiring harness ordered a round toggle switch. I didn't want to drill for a new tractor if there was a knockout for a rectangular one. 2 minor problems. This had larger spade lugs than the original round, requiring modifications to the jumper ends and tow ends. Another issue was that it was too big to fit a standard hole. The switch has 1.5 inch plastic butterfly wings. Used wire cutters to cut and then file to get the latch. Can't fault the switch. I think not every application will be the exact size. Connected to a red jumper on the bottom two pins so the switch only lights up when connected to a battery. I agree that it's not very bright when it's on, but it should be good enough.
