Review on Sena 50R-01 Mesh 2.0 Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset Communication System - Single Intercom Model by Leon Johnsson

I installed it about a month ago. So far, so good. Installation was relatively easy. I had to make some minor adjustments to the speaker holes in my helmet, but other than that it wasn't too difficult. Make sure you have electrical tape handy to secure the cables to the helmet in an organized manner. Performance wise, I took it on a 4 hour road trip last weekend to listen to Pandora on the phone and got a few calls too. When my (modular) helmet is in the front position, nobody can tell that I'm on a motorcycle. They say it sounds very clear, like I'm driving in my car. With the helmet in the open position, callers can hear wind turbulence through the microphone on the boom, but I expected that. The battery life is acceptable for the above scenario. Regarding performance when using the mesh intercom with a group out and about, I'll post an update to this review when that happens. Until then, if you're hesitant to buy this little guy I think this is a very good system for the price.
