If you are a savvy shopper and read all 1 star reviews when choosing a product, read on. I'm ashamed that I don't do the same. I am a father to a family of 5, two of my children are autistic and live and die on their pills. I've had many tablets over the years, literally dozens, the vast majority of them Samsung as they tend to make a quality product at a reasonable price. Don't be fooled by the attractive price of the Galaxy Tab E. I purchased this item to replace a Galaxy Tab A that got caught in the rain and I have never been so disappointed with a purchase. It looks good and looks as good as any other Samsung tablet, but to call it underpowered is an understatement of epic proportions. So much so that he couldn't even play half of my daughter's childhood games. Games with talking pets always crashed on launch. Everything was very slow and laggy, YouTube took several minutes to load so I assumed I received a defective item. I did three factory resets but nothing helped. It was only then that I looked at the 1 star reviews and realized that what I was experiencing was typical of this device. It's just a recent tablet that underperforms my 4 year old Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, which was a budget device back then. I ended up picking up and returning the Galaxy Tab E, using up the 20% restocking fee, and found a used and new Galaxy Tab A for the same price and my kid is happy again. Stay away from this poop, increase your budget, or try to find a used Galaxy Tab A like I did. If I save any of you from a great disappointment, my job is done.
