I have a 21ft boat and trailer and I fish in salt water. Although the trailer is aluminum, of course my nuts and bolts are not. There are also other bolts etc where rust will attack the trailer. I've tried sanding and applying grease wherever I can to defeat the rust, but eventually the grease goes away and the rust comes back. I thought I would try this product and then paint. I followed the instructions and sprayed it. Nothing seemed to happen. i wasn't happy However, I checked the next day and the patches I sprayed looked almost new. I started squirting everything, even my nuts. I even had a few rust spots on the chrome bumper of the truck where I installed the backup camera. I decided to try it on a small area to make sure it didn't damage the chrome. The next day I looked again at everything I sprayed and everything looked almost new. I'm ordering another bottle now.
