Ideal for setting out rafter angles
Like most carpenters, I have multiple rafter angles. I like Johnny's square for its marking ability. I have this square in my shop for making rough marking lines when laying out material. It is difficult. I don't like the texture of aluminum, but once it picks up a bit of sawdust it becomes smoother.
