I don't know why or why this balm is so much better than any other, most of it just irritates my lips instead of soothing. But it makes my chronically chapped lips smooth and comfortable. This is the BEST lip balm, period. I need a few to get through the winter. So glad I found them after my local pharmacy ran out of stock.
