I believe you buy the tool in port freight first and if it wears out it means you use it enough to guarantee the right tool . This was my take on this chain breaking/rivet tool. They look just like the ones that cost five times as much, so why should I spend that much? As a circuit breaker, it worked great for me. If that's all you need I'm sure it's worth $20. I used 520 chain and ground the rivet. No problem to pull them out several times, easy to use. The rivet part is where I had the problem. I made sure everything was perfectly centered, using the right inserts. He began to twist, the rivet began to expand, but also began to bend (as in the photo). I managed to get one rivet the right size but couldn't get the second one out as it only bent enough that I can't get the handle off now. The metal they cast this product out of just isn't made for a riveting tool.
