Bought for painting, the hood is particularly good at protecting the ears and face from the sun, significantly reducing sun exposure and general heat fatigue during the working day. As an added bonus when spraying paint, it blocks overspray from the hair and sides of the face. Lightweight and breathable, yet a sun protection champion. Looks like it's in a boy band video in white but I use it for summer work and it's a lot cheaper than Columbia or other alternatives.
