Weekly review. Have had additional GRAid floppy disks for years with no problem, which prompted me to switch to floppy disks. I have decided to add disks to another system without raid. Shooting over 1TB per year with LR and PS. Only use to save photos. Bought Thunderbolt due to its enterprise quality and daisy chain capability. The speed is reasonable and can be processed by the HDD with "probably" minimal latency - not yet enough to move the current process file to the internal SSD, which is an option on my system. No noise problems, no overheating. Less noise than my raid drives. Bought a cheaper USB-C drive of the same size for direct backup of a TB drive. This drive is less speed sensitive and I plug it into the USB port while keeping the other TB port. Very happy with the system. Not a TB with the same width and height but smaller in length but still folds up nicely.
