Review on 📶 ARRIS TG862G-CT Wireless Gateway: Advanced 802.11b/g/n GigaPort x 4 Port Router with 2-Voice Lines for XFINITY/COMCAST by Jacob Richardson

My Arris TG862G-CT arrived 1 day before the estimated delivery date. Due to many old negative reviews on this product and difficulty activating via Xfinity/Comcast. I was wary. The product that arrived was actually a "next-generation" version of the router/modem that Comcast rents to customers. A note explaining the difference and photos of the two products were included in the delivery. The activation instructions (included in the box) were very clear and concise. Following the instructions exactly, my new (free) Wi-Fi router/modem was up and running in about half an hour. And I've never had to speak to a human! Previous reviews were negative regarding the range of the Wi-Fi signal. My new router's signal is stronger than the one I rented from Comcast. In fact, he's pretty strong at my neighbor's house! Comcast made the exchange extremely easy, everything (except the old one) was done online with no human intervention. I am impressed with every aspect of this purchase. I have Triple Play "Pro Blast" through Comcast/Xfinity.
