Cheap hood. More for looks.
My personal opinion. It's cheap and the hood is only buttoned on by a couple buttons so cold air still comes in. I'd return it but I'm not that type of person.

- My son loves this jacket. The hood is removable but my son loves it.
Cons
- The black dye used in the jacket's coloring may bleed onto other clothes during washing, ruining them permanently
