So I never wrote Walmart reviews. I read them religiously but never contributed. So I thought this time around I’d add my two cents.First off, these lights are beautiful once they’re installed. They are much prettier than the other icicle lights you get at the store for Christmas. They are bright and the different light options are great. The icicle strands are much longer and dainty which don’t looks as bad during the day. But they looks so good at night turned on.That being said… installing these lights will test your patience, your rage tolerance and possibly the strength of your marriage/relationship.I ordered three boxes to use for our house and one box came neatly organized with each strand tied with twist ties… the other two did not. They came tangled… and not the shake it out and it comes undone tangled it was the sit down on the floor for an hour untangling. Those cute little starts at the end really create the right toxic environment for starting an argument with the person you love and also for causing little cuts on your hands. Nonetheless, I was determined and after about an hour I got the two boxes untangled.You’d think that’s would be the last of the terror these lights would cause but you’d be wrong. The lights strands and stars proceeded to get caught on every step of the ladder while trying to staple them to the trim of the house. I’ve never heard more profanities come out of one persons mouth and I was in the Navy so that says something. After 4 hours and 7 near death experiences total we managed to wrap them around the house.Ultimately, the lights are beautiful, our house looks great and we are great. Be prepared to work a little but it’s totally worth it.
