I didn't want to pay $40 for a pair of Crocs and decided to buy them especially since we had cold weather. They will ONLY fit properly when you first get them and over time they will stretch and conform to your feet. The biggest problem I had, however, was with the inner lining. This was originally a purchase bonus as I run in warm weather so my feet sweat profusely. The experience with rubber clogs resulted in my feet slipping in the shoes due to moisture. These clogs were difficult to clean because they were glued on, but after the second cleaning the lining came off the shoe and was uncomfortable to walk in because the lining then slipped into the shoe. About a month later I decided to cut out the lining and just wear socks with it. They are very comfortable and offer good support for your feet, but when your feet sweat profusely cleaning them can be frustrating.
