Review on CURT 45141 Trailer 2 Inch Receiver by Terrance Singletary

Did about 2000 miles with a small U-Haul cargo trailer in a 2015 Honda Pilot, no problem. Before hooking it up, I put a spoonful of white lithium grease on the top of the ball (and cleaned the inside of the hitch). When I returned the tag 12 days later the chrome on the ball was still in great shape. The lock is fine but not what I would call high security, it will just deter accidental theft. I wish ALL of these hitch locks also had a pinhole to add another layer of security when towing, this should be a must, waaaay for the many horror stories of these locks coming loose during transport. I've added a solid wheel arch, hitch lock and hardcore lock on the overnight security chains. Also another high security lock on trailer door + door alarm + alarm in tractor. slept pretty well.
