I start by saying I have twins. We bought two quality sleeping pads and they were ruined from wear and tear and the twins just rode them around town. We didn't even have one for a year. So we wanted to replace them with something cheaper for kindergarten so we wouldn't get upset if they broke etc. I bought two of these. When I took the first one out of the box I was disappointed with how small it was. I read the reviews before ordering and others said they didn't like how small it was either. So I put it next to our high quality sleeping bag for reference. They are the same size. So I would advise not to let the size confuse you :) My kids love it and that initial feeling of disappointment went away when I saw that they are the same length. Aside from the size, the mat itself is very thin and you can tell by the pillow that it's of cheaper quality BUT overall I'm not disappointed. This is a cheaper alternative as similar rugs could potentially cost $70. Children will outgrow and move on. That's great:)
