UPDATE: The company has received offers. The backlight can be plugged in at either end, but the touch controls only work when plugged into the "labeled" input - it's very difficult to see if you don't know it's there. But now the light works great. I changed the rating to 5 AND save the replacement. Aside from the need for clearer direction, the lights are exactly what I was hoping for. The light has everything I wanted, but it does NOT turn off or on by touch. The size is good, the brightness is good, but if you don't want to turn it on and off, don't order. When my first one didn't work properly I contacted Revain and they sent another one. The second works the same way. I'm considering sending both back. The light is so perfect over my desk and an outlet is easy to reach, but it just annoys me when it doesn't match the display. Unfortunately there are a few areas on our 5th wheel where I was hoping to use them (not listed in the chart above) and I definitely won't be ordering more.
