I bought these to make a box for UV curing resin 3D prints. I cut them into 9 LED strips at every third seam and then attach them to the inside of the box I made. I then soldered the wires from the connector to the strips. So far, so good. The only issue I had was that there were multiple joints along the entire length of the strip that were soldered together. It is evident that these ligaments are made up of several shorter ligaments. That meant I couldn't just cut them with scissors. Instead I had to desolder these segments to separate them. I work a little more, but that doesn't matter.
