I have a Jeep Patriot and it's holding up well. But when I hold the phone on the car stereo, not just at the lowest point, eventually the lock gives and my hand falls off, blocking my car stereo's screen. And if you want to transfer it to wireless charging, you can do that, but then the charging port is blocked because if you're using an Android Auto, you can't connect it.
