I bought this to use with one of the new Sabrent PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives. It's a good idea to wrap the drive top and bottom and not use rubber bands to hold the heatsink in place. The top and bottom are poorly made and don't fit well together even when there's no disc inserted. And the design doesn't account for the thickness of the two thermal pads that need to be attached - even with a thermal pad installed (on the underside of the disc) you can't fully match the parts. I'm having a hard time understanding how an NVMe drive would fit into this thing. In fact, I doubt this heatsink kit has ever been tested with a modern NVMe drive.
