what I originally liked about this product was the fact that it came with the double-sided sticky tape so I would not have to put holes in my wall. Well, it was a good thing it came that way because looking at the back I noticed that the magnet inside partially covered the slots to use nails to hang it up. I put it up following the instructions for the tape exactly and even waited 2 days before adding any knives to it. It held well for over 3 months and fell off the wall one night scaring me to death with the clatter of several knives hitting my stove-top. I tore off part of the sticky tape and tried to move the magnet over enough to get the holder onto a nail but it was no use, even a small headed nail will not go in both sides.
