I bought my first brush in December 2013 and am only now changing it out due to something used to clean it which ruined the bristles. The husband seemed to find the ONLY thing in the house that could mess it up. We're not sure what it was, but it took almost 3 years to discover. I really love this brush. It feels good in the hand, made from such wonderful quality materials, I never thought natural ingredients would work and last so well. Before that, I bought a new OXO plastic and metal brush every month. That's about $8 every 30 days, that's about $240 a year for dish brushes. In earnest. And they were painful to use. Not this one, love it and hope it lasts a long time. It's worth every penny. EASY CARE: Don't leave it in standing water, let it dry between uses, simple enough and yours will last as long as mine.
