Really like it a lot better than I thought. As for the velcro straps, they provide enough friction after a few games. The wide waist has 4-way velcro but instead of a fancy inflatable bladder like my Carbon has, it has a zipped pocket lined with rubber-like material. They say it's for keys, phone, cash/cards. I use it to hold a flexible freezer bag and it lowers the internal temperature significantly. Either way, for less than $50, it's a steal.
