Review on 📀 Enhanced LG DN898 DVD Player with 1080p Upconversion by Brandon Vox

I bought a 47 inch LG LCD TV for my new apartment and needed a new DVD player. I like the LG brand (bought a friend's separate HD LCD TV a year ago and it's great) so I wanted an upconverted DVD player to match the TV. Not yet on the market for BlueRay so this was a good alternative. Offers more clarity on its older sister TV. There is no clock on the front of the DVD player, but I bought the DVD player, not the clock, so I didn't care. The remote also controls my LG TV (not sure if it controls all TV brands once programmed). The remote control is a bit cluttered with lots of buttons and lots of little labels to match. The "zoom" feature came in handy with some DVDs that didn't stretch out well on the screen or had black bars on the sides. As a full-featured up-converted DVD player, it gets the job done.
