Great for your own colors you like

I had a couple of half panels that I got from a Windsor Newton set, a magnetic strip you can cut off to attach to the underside of the half panels , so they don't slide back and forth into the Meeden Palette, which I also bought here. I like the metallic finish because the watercolor doesn't clump, lays evenly, and the color comes through evenly. That's why I don't like plastic pallets. It's awesome, plus you can take an ultra fine marker and mark the name of each color on the side of the half. You can also cut out a piece of watercolor paper and draw a small dot of each color and label it so you know how the color will lie on the watercolor paper. Good luck in your adventure and happy painting!
