If you're looking for a quality yet affordable gaming monitor, this is a solid choice - it does the job well enough and is the right size for gaming. However, if you're looking for something for editing/workspace, I'd recommend spending the extra $200 or so and going for something with the right resolution. This monitor doesn't give you the finest details and customizable options to broaden your view - it's more suited to simple tasks due to the low resolution, which is of course why the cost is so low compared to other 27-inch monitors. Overall it's a solid 4/5 for me, depends on what use case you're trying to achieve.
