Not amber for lamp
The light is good brightness, not too bright like another lamp I bought from the same seller and not too dim like the original halogen. They aren't amber, they're yellow-green when they come out of the reflector housing, just an odd color. I would leave them if they were amber to match the rest of the lights in my BMW.
