I was looking for a simple, pull-on dress that I could wear on summer weekends. This one was on sale, and I really liked the purple gray color, so I decided to try it. Here are my observations after wearing it for a while.Pros:Super-soft, lightweight fabric that's perfect for Midwest summer weekendsI love the purple gray color as much in person as I did in the pictureThe pockets are niceThe neckline and bodice are comfortably modestThe straps completely hide my bra strapsThe skirt is a nice lengthConsThe fabric is pretty thin (admittedly, a plus in Midwest summers), which means a padded bra might be in order if you don't like nipple showageYou won't want to put anything heavy (like keys) in the pockets, or they'll stretch and make you look lopsidedThe waist is a tiny bit higher than my natural waist, which makes me want to continually pull down on the skirt to get it to sit right; this impacts the comfort level significantlyOverall, the first two cons are not terribly important. The third, however, becomes a constant annoyance quite quickly. I had hoped that perhaps I could order an XXL for comparison, but XL was a large as they came.I'm hoping that after I lose some weight, the waistline will land a little lower (since the bodice will not have to stretch quite so much to cover my torso), and this problem will be solved. Time will tell.My recommendation? If you're not carrying around extra middle-age pounds, it might be the perfect fit for you! Since the waistline issue is my only major complaint, anyone who doesn't have the same problem will probably be delighted with the dress.
