I just ordered this to test and we love it; We bought a second order of these. The smell of the filler is a bit unpleasant, but not very strong, so let's put up with it. Also, the bags only weigh 6 pounds and our cat digs vigorously when it needs to poop so we must have 2 bags in his box. At the same time, there is no smell of urine from the bags we put the pee balls in, and if he completely closes his poop, we won't feel it either. We can throw anything down the toilet, but we prefer to only flush solid waste. In any case we are pleased with the performance of this litter, we just wish it was less expensive as we have a fixed income in retirement. updated 03/10/21! We now only use this tofu filling. Our tomcat used to jump and roll in the old fountain pen (usually store bought), he doesn't do that in this one. At first I noticed the faint smell was off-putting, but you get used to it and hardly notice it. Also, we don't have to change the litter box as often as we used to. This litter seems to be more economical than the neat cat we are used to buying. I highly recommend this litter!
