Remove the silver screws, caps and end caps and set aside. Using a good pair of strong pliers, pinch the cable stop and pull it out of the case. Remove the cord stopper. .Now you can move the metal halves around a bit. The green ground wire is held on by another Phillips head screw that needs to be removed. You now have full mobility so you can now expose 2 more black Phillips head screws holding the case attached to the table clamp bracket. Remove these 2 screws and you can now turn the socket housing over. Replace the 2 screws to secure the chassis to the clamp bracket on the table. (Do not overtighten) Reattach the green ground wire with the screw. Temporarily align the case halves and reattach the power cable brackets using pliers. This may take some effort (use some petroleum jelly if necessary). Now PERFECTLY align the body halves and attach end to end to each, attach the molded end cap and attach the silver Phillips screws. If you feel some resistance when trying to turn the screws, then the halves are not perfectly aligned. Once both end caps are in place, you can reattach the thin square adhesive caps.
