Review on Enhance Water Filtration with Aquaboon 4 PACK Micron Coconut Cartridge by Dre Fowler

Purchased Aquaboon 5 micron sediment along with matching Aquaboon 5 micron coconut shell carbon block cartridges for Watts-Premier reverse osmosis system. Publish the same assessment for both subjects. These generic filters have about the same apparent quality and device design as well-known brands in big boxes. They fit perfectly in my suitcases and are great value for money. They give off a very strong chemical aftertaste when installed. This chemical taste lasted at least 3 full tanks of gas in my system. The first tank was undrinkable, but the flavor quickly faded as the water flushed through the filter. The 4th tank was fine and for now the system performance is what I got from the original Watts elements. I suspect the chemical taste is due to the carbon block filters. I plan on using the remaining Aquaboon elements, but would seriously consider paying more for Watts branded elements next time as they cause far less off flavor after swapping.
